Hi, my name is Andrew and I’m really bad at promoting myself. So let’s see how this goes.
Been on a personal journey over the past few years in mental and physical health. Nowhere near done, but I like to occasionally like to post my thoughts on such topics; particularly around mental health.
However, you are more likely to find posts around consumer technology and gadgets on here. I’ve been involved with technology at some level since the single digits; putting together 386 computers with my now Brother-In-Law and editing autoexec.bat and config.sys files to get games working in DOS.
These days I’m far less hands on, preferring to play and test gadgets of all types. I specifically like the unusual stuff that doesn’t make the consumer radar or fills a specific niche. I’m typing this out on an older portable word processor called the Writer Forte.
Outside of that, I mainly love to spend time with my family and dabble in photography occasionally. No illusions of being a professional photographer, that’s hard work. I just like documenting my life.
That’s about it. I hope you get something out of this blog. I’ve mainly started it purely for my own benefit, but it would be fantastic if others get value from it too.
